News

There are still people signing the petition at http://www.familynfp.com/. Everyone is supportive and enthusiastic.

We got a letter from Dr. Bruchalski encouraging us to press on. I posted some of it below. I think we could do this!

The letter:

"From my point of view it is very exciting to speak with brave souls who want to buck the trend in healthcare for the sake of the Kingdom. I have been in contact with many from around the country in various stages of building Tepeyacs elsewhere. This is a priority for us, to help others build centers.
Under Her Mantle and His Mercy,
John Bruchalski, MD"

Thank you Dr. Bruchalski!!

Wanted: A Pro-Life, Pro-Family, Pro-Christian OB/GYN in SOMD

Raise your hand if you would like a Tepeyac-like OB/GYN in Southern Maryland! If you are jumping up and down in front of your computer, waving your hand in the air, shouting, "Me, me, me!" then you have come to the right place.

This blog has been created at the advice of Bob Laird of the Tepeyac Family Center to get the ball rolling in that direction. He suggested we do this to start discussion, garner enthusiasm, get people involved and keep everyone updated on the progress.

Lisa and I (KC) went up this week (with Cookie praying like mad) to meet with Bob to discuss the possibility of a Tepeyac II in SOMD. There were two things on the agenda: 1-find out if the Tepeyac could open a satellite office in St. Mary's County or 2-find out how they did it so we could imitate their model and open our own similar practice.

He gave us three and a half hours. Whoa. We learned a lot. It's a good thing Lisa took notes.

We now have a to-do list which will be posted on this page for everyone to see and to help out with in whatever way they can. Here are the first few things he told us we needed to do:

1. Create a Blog

2. Work on a misison statement

3.Find a doctor

The blog is created. Now, your help is needed. What do YOU want in a practice? If you post your thoughts, needs, desires about this, it will help to develop a clear mission statement which will assist in finding the right doctor.
